Hei.. iwent to watch the NDP on saturday 8th july if im not wrong.. yar.. overall.. its just ok for me.. i mean.. its like the same la.. the intro was something new.. to get the crowd all hyped.. electrico was there to do the job.. and with sum other band i sun even noe the name.. haha. anyway.. electrico tried their best.. i could see... they really tried to make the crowd "hapening"... but in vain.. i mean.. come on la.. 60 000 ppl... alot of them are a bunch of aunties and uncles.. small little inquisitive young ones.. mei mei(s) and ti ti(s)... hehe.. cant ask much from them aiy.. anyway.. the 'gig' didnt really turn out very well.. i mean.. how many of 'these' pl actually noe electrico.. so only very little screams could be heard acros the huge stadium.. haha... and those really have to be the die-hard fans of the band.. wells.. i would have to say.. it was a good effort.. putting in something new for the ceremony.. oo.. anyway there was the vasanthem star.. shabir.. anugerah winner.. khairul anwar.. and the project superstar.. kelvin.. haha.. i would say that their performance was agood effort coz its something new... but honestly.. for me.. i feel that it was not very GREAT la... they sang sp songs of course.. the various ethnic grps.. wells.. cant really expect much can i.. anyway.. the fire works were quite cool.. its something new too.. i mean the arrangemens.. not that fireworks are someting new..instead of watching it at the back, near to the grand stand... ppl near the grand stand wont have to strain their backs to watch the fireworks.. this year.. the fireworks are directly opposite the grand stand..haha.. so its a perfect pic.. anyway.. the fireworks are all new designs too!! yeah.. so it wont be the same boring colours.. haha.. this year's one is really nice.. so those staying near the national stadium.. better check outside ur window.. who knows u might catch a glimpse of the fireworks.. haha.. its nice.. wells those who stay quite further away. but dying to watch the fireworks.. and have no tix.. then come down near the kallang river.. maybe plan a late evening picnic with ur family.. then 'll get to enjoy the fireworks 1st hand.. ahha.. enjoy yar!!
